Dare to Flare | OOTD*

Hey babies,

How are we all? I must say I was feeling pretty worse for wear when I took these photos, but this photoshoot with Leah was SO much fun that it instantly healed my self inflicted hangover wounds. She's looking for more bloggers to photograph too, and she's such a lovely girl and a gorgeous mumma to be! She'd researched all the pretty locations ahead of our shoot and I'm so happy with the street-style vibe we got with the photos!

Olive Hooded Bodysuit - Tobi
Striped Culottes - Urban Outfitters
Faux Fur Hobo Bag - Next
Cylinder Heel Boots - Next
Sunglasses - Flame Lily

I'm a fiend for anything khaki (and also quite the fiend for a bodysuit too) so when I saw this cute khaki flared sleeve bodysuit on the Tobi website, you bet your bottom dollar it went straight in my basket. I've been loving the whole sports luxe vibe lately too, so I paired it with my ride or die culottes from Urban Outfitters. I was gonna wear trainers, but I just love a heeled boot far too much, and I thought these added a fun 80's twist.

I'm also not (and quite frankly never want to be) over the furry bag trend so I grabbed this gorgeous thing from Next to finish off the outfit. FYI this doubles up as the cosiest pillow when you're on an uncomfortable train ride home and you're V sleepy. As I was that day...

I just love these flared sleeves on the bodysuit, they give it a really cool edge and cause the material is such a lovely thick quality, they're not flimsy in the slightest. If you checked out my last OOTD post featuring Tobi you'll know I mentioned how impressed I was with the company and the quality of their products. I've been trying to limit my online shopping recently but I know I'll be back on the Tobi website making a cheeky order very soon!

These sunnies from Flame Lily also had to make an appearance. Obviously they're super cool but I also feel like they're an instant confidence booster when you're on a photoshoot. It was quite a busy Sunday when we took these photos and there were so many perplexed people giving us really inquisitive looks while I was posing away in front of this blue door! (First world problems I know!)

I hope you enjoyed this post, and the lovely photos taken by Leah :) Make sure you check out
her Facebook page and Instagram if you're interested in shooting with her in Birmingham.

  2. Quite frankly, you have the most killer style. I'm quite a bland dresser myself, I adore my basics and minimal style but I love to look at other people wearing such different outfits to mine!

  3. Damn girl, how the hell do you look this good with a hangover?! I definitely need to pick up a gorgeous pair of sunnies to boost my confidence when I'm on a photo shoot, that's a great tip! I have been lusting after a furry bag for AGES but I still haven't picked one up, so I might have to to head to Next to get one like yours, if it's good at doubling as a pillow, I am sold!
